Event summary:
Fo Guang Shan temple is founded by Venerable Master Hsing Yun for nearly half a century. The objectives are to promote Humanistic Buddhism and to foster peace and harmony among all people of the world.
On Monday, June 17, 2019, Fo Guang Shan temple of Ottawa will begin the construction of its first phase development on a tranquil area surrounded by mature trees at 6688 Franktown Road, Richmond. The new temple will have more space to hold Chinese culture event related to Buddhism. Everyone is welcomed to participate.
Free admission to watch the dragon/lion dance and drumming performances.
